Password Geneous-Reset (PGR) module: Password Reset software - user self-reset of passwords to enhance security and save help desk calls. Users can reset their passwords without helpdesk intervention in multi or single-platform environments.

Resets are enabled via a browser-based self-help utility in accordance with enterprise security standards that ensure type & numbers of questions fit the needs. This module may be installed on its own or implemented with Account Geneous.

Users re-enable their own accounts if they have forgotten their passwords & accidentally get locked out. Enterprise & user efficiency is increased & the significant reduction in helpdesk calls will ensure a rapid ROI.

Benefits

PGR is a self-help utility that enables end-users to reset passwords, in order to quickly regain access to multiple systems in the enterprise and thereby regain their productivity.

Specialist helpdesk software empowering end-users in this way frees System Administrators and Help Desk staff from the burdens and costs associated with resetting forgotten passwords.

This translates to substantial savings in the time and money dedicated to managing this pervasive end-user problem.

The user-friendly interface also allows Help Desk and Administrators to manage user profiles and provides Security Administrators with an array of authentication controls.

Studies by leading consultant firms have found that Helpdesk support costs range from £10 to £20 per password reset action. The average company experiences 50% or greater volume of calls to be password recovery requests, especially in multi-platform environments thus the requirement for elegant helpdesk solutions is paramount.

Eliminating the help desk procedures of resetting passwords by choosing Password Geneous-Reset will immediately recover helpdesk time and expense by enabling end-users to reset their own passwords securely and efficiently. Another key benefit of SecurPass-Reset is higher quality help desk service for issues other than password resets.

Enterprises that operate longer than normal business hours can ensure efficiency by using self-reset avoiding the need for helpdesk staff to be available for that task out of hours.

The enterprise sets rules to ensure that any reset password is consistent with the corporate policies including ISO 17799 & BS7799 security codes and reduces risk of identity theft.

No additional hardware normally necessary.

No software installed at the desktop.
